Karl Tiedemann

Karl has been with Rosetta for over 4 years and leads the Samsca promotional initiatives.

At Rosetta, Karl has spearheaded the launch of several brands: Samsca for hyponatremia, and Synvisc-One and Jonexa for OA knee pain (Genzyme). He also led the highly successful campaign relaunch for Diovan for high blood pressure (Novartis). But don't call him the launch man! Karl's greatest pride comes from his relationships with the clients he has partnered with. He has worked on clients of all sizes, and has coordinated domestic and global campaigns. No matter who the client, Karl has always worked as an extension of the marketing team as a true brand champion. He takes brand performance personally and always goes the extra mile to achieve success for his clients.

Before Rosetta, Karl worked at DraftFCB Healthcare, where he lead several brand launches including the megabrand Atripla for HIV (Gilead & BMS), FreeStyle Flash and FreeStyle Navigator for glucose monitoring (Abbott Diabetes Care), the relaunch of FluMist for influenza (MedImmune), as well as 2 new indications for Merck's blockbuster Cozaar for high blood pressure. Before that he was at LLNS managing 2 brand launches for Sankyo Daiichi (WelChol and Benicar). All in all, Karl brings over 13 years of pharmaceutical experience to the table.
