Managing Partner, Rosetta Marketing Strategy & Insights

John is a Managing Partner in and co-leader of Rosetta’s Marketing Strategy and Insights practice. He has over seventeen years of consulting experience and has helped develop winning marketing and business strategies for clients across a number of industries including retail, consumer packaged goods, financial services, high tech and telecommunications, and healthcare. John has also advised a number of leading cultural institutions in his hometown, Chicago, including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Hubbard Street Dance Theater, and the Joffrey Ballet. Prior to joining Rosetta, John was a leader of the Marketing and Sales practice at McKinsey and Company, where he helped to build the core approaches and frameworks used in segmentation and branding. He also led the Consumer Insight and Analytics practice at Accenture and built advanced analytic models to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness while working at Information Resources.

John has a Ph.D. in social psychology and statistics from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan
